Meet Some of Our Boca Raton Instructors!
Katie
When Katie was a young child, her parents always described her as a fish. She loved the water, and as she grew up, that love grew into a passion. She joined the local club swim team at eight years old and continued to compete for the next 11 years. During the summer months, Katie spent her time life guarding the beaches of Southern Maine, eventually earning the role of Lifeguard Captain. She began teaching swimming lessons to all age ranges, including infants, toddlers and adults. Katie’s hoping to inspire others to love the water and swimming as much as she does.
Caylin

Caylin graduated with her Masters in Physical Education in 2018. She was on the swim team from the age of 12 years old to 18 years old where she swam competitively. Caylin has been teaching swimming lessons since she was 16 years old. She has experience teaching babies, children and adults, and have trained a military service applicants to pass their swim exams. Caylin was an Assistant Coach for the Recreational Team teaching Beginner swimmers how to swim competitively working on stroke perfection. She is certified through The American Red Cross in CPR/AED.
Does Your Child Rely on Puddler-Jumpers When They Swim?
Puddler-jumpers teach children to swim in an incorrect, upright position. This makes it very difficult to teach a child to swim without this device, hindering any forward motion. This is why we preach to parents – THROW OUT THOSE PUDDLE JUMPERS!
Look what happens to a child who is used to wearing a puddle jumper.. scary!!
He can’t even get to the wall!
Please understand that these floaties cause the child to not have skills of their own…Here’s a great article on floatation devices:
